Code of Conduct — Tunisia Dev Days

Our Pledge

Tunisia Dev Days is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

Expected Behavior

All participants — including attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers — are expected to:

Be respectful and considerate in all interactions.
Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants.
Alert organizers if you notice a situation that may be unsafe or someone in distress.
Participate in an authentic and active way, contributing to the health of the community.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable at Tunisia Dev Days:

Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct.
Offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.
Inappropriate use of nudity or sexual imagery in any conference venue or communication.
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors.

Consequences

Unacceptable behavior from any participant will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including removal from the Event without a refund and barring from future events.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it as soon as possible. You can contact the organizers directly at the event, or reach out via our Contact page. All reports will be treated with confidentiality.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all Tunisia Dev Days venues and events, including official social events, online interactions related to the conference, and any one-on-one communications carried out in the context of the event.
